Suspension Intolerance Strap

The SPROM Suspension Intolerance Strap – SP-S1S01 is specially designed to help relieve the negative effects of suspension trauma for workers using fall arrest systems. Compact and lightweight, it does not interfere with the worker’s movement while at work. It is easily attached to the harness using the textile loop and velcro provided, ensuring quick deployment in emergencies.

  • Self-retracting lanyards require proper care, maintenance, and storage to ensure optimal performance. Any malfunction may result in severe consequences. Inspect the equipment before each use and record its condition (by a competent person).
  • The company Safety Officer must maintain a service and inspection log.
  • For minor stains, clean with a cotton cloth or soft brush.
  • Wipe metallic parts with a dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive materials. Do not expose the locking assembly to water.
  • For intensive cleaning, wash with water (25°C–50°C) using a neutral detergent (pH 7).
  • Allow to air dry naturally.
  • Do not use acidic or alkaline detergents.
  • Follow washing instructions strictly.
  • After cleaning, store in a dry, cool, dark place away from moisture, open fire, direct sunlight, heat sources, acidic/alkaline environments, and sharp edges. Do not store the equipment while wet.
