  • Self-retracting lanyards require proper care, maintenance, and storage to ensure optimal performance. Any malfunction may result in severe consequences.
  • Inspect the equipment before each use and record its condition (by a competent person).
  • The company Safety Officer must maintain a service and inspection log.
  • For minor stains, clean with a cotton cloth or soft brush.
  • Wipe metallic parts with a dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive materials.
  • Do not expose the locking assembly to water.
  • For intensive cleaning, wash with water (25°C–50°C) using a neutral detergent (pH 7).
  • Allow to air dry naturally.
  • Do not use acidic or alkaline detergents.
  • Follow washing instructions strictly.
  • After cleaning, store in a dry, cool, dark place away from moisture, open fire, direct sunlight, heat sources, acidic/alkaline environments, and sharp edges.
  • Do not store the equipment while wet.
